Colleen Mae (born November 21 the 21st of November, 1986) is an American comedian. She's also a YouTuber, actress and singer. Her Internet character Miranda Sings is her most famous. She has uploaded videos of her character on YouTube and performed her one-woman comedy act in theatres throughout all over the world. In 2016, she also wrote and appeared in Haters Back Off, a Netflix original show about the character. Ballinger created the jolly, eccentric, egotistical, talentless character to laugh at the countless YouTube videos of singers who sing poorly in an attempt to break into the show business. Together, her channels on YouTube have received more than 5 billion views. Miranda Sings' channel has more subscribers than 10,000,000 with more than 13 million TikTok followers and 6,000,000 Instagram followers. Ballinger was honored with the Teen Choice Award for Web Star Comedy, as well as a Streamy Award for Best Actress. 4 The Hollywood Reporter named her as one of its Top 25 Digital Stars. After many years married, Ballinger and Joshua Evans were married in California in July 2015. In separate YouTube videos, Evans & Ballinger announced their divorcing plans in September of 2016.
