Amy Smart is a former American actress and model. Amy Smart was born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her first role as an actor was in the TV film Her Costly Affair. Following a long and difficult battle, she landed a role in the 'Starship Troopers' series starring in Starship Troopers. It was a difficult transition for Amy because she had transition from modelling to performing. Models aren't considered great actors so they tend to get smaller, insignificant roles. Yet, somehow Amy did not give up and transitioned to more prestigious roles. It all started with the series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Amy then moved into leading roles in the love story Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy attained the fame she had been searching for for more than 10 years, when her movie just Friends debuted. Amy went on to appear in major films including the Crank Series opposite Jason Statham, and Shameless.
