Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, a multi-talented actress director, producer, playwright, educator, and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father hails from Britain, while her mother is the "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's first memories involve attending rehearsals for plays and observing her mother at her job. When she was a girl, she appeared in various commercials. In the month of November, 1999 Anna relocated to Toronto to advance her acting career. She ended up moving to Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. They were engaged. Anna changed her religion to Judaism at the beginning of January 2011, and then they re-wed at the Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton. Bo's relationship with Lauren was highlighted by CNN's top TV Couples ever, and was named the top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's fame on social media increased as a result of Anna's show.
