Paula Patton is an actress and producer who is best known for her starring roles in the action-spy film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the drama film Precious. Growing up in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, Patton had many dreams. The idea of instilling a love for films within her daughter was a skill that was a gift from her mother she also enjoyed watching films. Paula became involved in many activities at school that were co-curricular however she showed particular passion for dramatics. She was a member of her class and was a part of the school's plays. After starring in numerous performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her profession. She went to the University of Southern California for an intensive summer program and was enthralled by the experience. She received a 3-month contract to create documentaries for PBS. After she had completed the three-month assignment successfully Her first assignment was working in the production department of television documentaries. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. Although she was awed by the work, she wanted to become an actor. She began her journey into acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star in love story Hitch. Since then, she's appeared in a variety of film and TV shows.
