Zoe Saldana, born June 19th, 1978 was the son of Asalia Nazario, along with Aridio Saldana. Her father was Dominican while her mother is Puerto Rican. Her mother is Puerto Rican and her father is Dominican. In 2010, she relocated together with her family members to the Dominican Republic where they spent for the next seven years. Zoe discovered a love for dance performance while living within the Republic of Dominicana. She began training with the ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy and was there to learn dance and various forms of dancing. The training she received was not just a great way to exercise this passionate young lady, but also a good way to prepare her for an acting career. Zoe and her family emigrated back to the United States with Zoe at 17 and her interest for dancing and theatre performance grew.
