It performed particularly well across Canada, Australia and the U.K. Swift's next album Speak Now, released nearly two years following the debut, further consolidated this success. The album propelled Swift into the spotlight. The popularity of Swift only grew with her following three albums - Red (2012) 1989 (2014) as well as Reputation (2017) and Reputation in 2017 which saw her move into a pop realm in which she was already a part. Although she slowed down her production with folklore, and Evermore releases in 2020 she was still at the forefront of pop music.
